The Big Jump
So, I've gone and done it, I've put in my two weeks notice at work. It's been just over two years, and I believe it's time to move on, not only to more interesting work, but hopefully to self-employment as well. It seems like now is the time to be an independent contractor, with lots of new opportunities arising daily in the technology world, and I don't want to be tied down to a large, inflexible company as I am now. That, and quite frankly, I'm kind of bored with the work I do right now. I'd rather be working on either a product/website that is really, really cool, or at least working on a new site every other month. So, I cross my fingers, and jump in.
Oh yeah, and happy birthday to me. Only one more year till I can't be trusted by the youth anymore.
